Jill Firth
Jill has been with Hazeloop, Walsh, & Associates since 2004. As Senior Associate, she oversees all of the administrative, financial, and marketing components of the company. Jill's background includes a number of financial management and consulting positions.
Jill previously worked as a Healthcare Consultant for Kennedy Group, Inc., providing hospital finance consulting services. She also served as Regional Manager for Transition Systems, Inc., establishing a western regional office for a subsidiary of the New England Medical Center and marketing a hospital cost accounting and product line management system.
Jill formerly served as Assistant Director of Finance - Budget and Reimbursement for the University of Colorado Hospital. Her budgeting responsibilities included financial analysis and forecasting, cost accounting, capital management and performance monitoring. Jill also directed all third party reimbursements, such as Medicare and Medicaid, and served as communications liaison on behalf of the hospital with the Colorado legislature and the state payroll.
Jill's background also includes audit management and reimbursement for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Colorado, and Controller for the Grand River Hospital District in Rifle, Colorado.
Jill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration-Accounting at Colorado State University, and was a member of Beta Alpha Psi, the national accounting honor society, as well as the National Honors Society.
